Professor/DirectorShuvra S. Bhattacharyya is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. He holds a joint appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS), and is a member of the University of Maryland Energy Research Center (UMERC). He also holds a part-time position as International Research Chair, joint with INSA/IETR, and INRIA in Rennes, France.
Dr. Bhattacharyya previously held industrial positions as a Researcher at the Hitachi America Semiconductor Research Laboratory (San Jose, California), and Compiler Developer at Kuck & Associates (Champaign, Illinois). He has held a visiting research position at the US Air Force Research Laboratory (Rome, New York). From January 2015 through December 2018, he was a part time visiting professor in the Department of Pervasive Computing at the Tampere University of Technology (now Tampere University), Finland, as part of the Finland Distinguished Professor Programme (FiDiPro). Undergraduate StudentEverest Bloomer is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is working on achieving his bachelor's of science in Electrical Engineering, spring of 2022. He joined the DSPCAD group in summer of 2020, working on dataflow simulation for wireless systems. He is currently planning to continue his education through the BS/MS program offered by the A. James Clark School of Engineering and plans to continue to achieve a Ph.D.

Undergraduate StudentDominic Chow is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. He aims to earn his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 2021 and his master’s degree in computer engineering in 2022 through the combined BS/MS program. He joined the DSPCAD group in 2020 conducting research for credit and plans to continue research with the DSPCAD group as a part-time position.

PhD StudentJing received the bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Ph.D. student in 2016.
His research interests include VLSI implementation of DSP algorithms, compressive sensing, and computer architecture.   Email    Eung Joo Lee
PhD StudentEung Joo Lee received the master`s degree in Electrical Engineering from KAIST, South Korea, and the bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Ph.D. Student in 2015.

PhD StudentYaesop received the bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sogang University, South Korea, and master’s degree in ENTS from University of Maryland, College Park. She joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Ph.D. student in 2018.

He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Ph.D. Student in 2018.

PhD StudentYi-Ting Shen received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2016 and the M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2019. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park as a Ph.D. student in 2020.

Visiting ResearcherChinyere Sloley is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She aims to earn her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2022 and her master’s degree in Cybersecurity in 2023 through the accelerated BS/MS program. She has an Associate of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Montgomery College. She joined the DSPCAD group in the summer of 2020 as a LSAMP scholar to hone her skills in data flow implementations.

He joined the DSPCAD Group in 2020 as a voluntary undergraduate researcher who is honing his skills in dataflow programming and digital designing.

PhD StudentXiaomin received the bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering with minor in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York at Stony Brook. Xiaomin joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) as a Ph.D. Student in 2018. He is the recipient of Dean’s Fellowship from UMD.
